Patagonia Torrentshell Jackets

Posted by 2 on

Looks like the rain is here to stay, sorry folks! Its times like these when its handy to have a reliable jacket and we couldn’t recommend another brand other than Patagonia. From its small beginnings, initially catering to the needs of climbers. Patagonia has Alpinism amongst its core values and its the driving force behind all its products. The company also takes its eco credentials seriously, minimising the impact its manufacturing techniques and products have on the environment. Many of their jackets use recycled polyester and organic cotton instead of cotton laced with pesticides. One of our favourite pieces has to be the Patagonia Lotus Green Torrentshell Stretch Jacket. Its the perfect jacket in our opinion if you are a hiker, scrambler, technical climber or just want the best when you are riding through the city on your bike to work. The Patagonia Torrentshell collection is one of the most technical to come out of Patagonia. The 2.5-layer nylon ripstop fabric adds rigidity and durability while stretch panels in the lower arms and across the back of the shoulders add mobility. The Patagonia Torrentshell range also features a helmet-compatible, 2-way-adjustable hood with laminated visor rolls fown and stows. The front zipper also features an internal storm flap to keep you dry as well as an adjustable drawcord hem to keep every last drop of murky rainwater out!
